Der „Elan“, und das Buch für das Karl Ernst Osthaus Museum – TV3-Barcelona 2003
In diesem Film wird der Bildhauer Andreu Ginestet an seinem Sommersitz interviewt.
Der Künstler beschreibt wie sich das Hauptthema des Elan –die Emanzipation der Gewalt- wie roter Faden durch sein Werk zieht.
Andreu Ginestet stellt ein Buch vor, das er für den „Raum der Architektur der Erinnerung“ von der Künstlerin Sigrid Sigurdsson schreibt und bemalt.
In diesem Buch setzt sich der Künstler mit der Gewalt auseinander und wie er an der Ruhr-Universität-Bochum, das Thema der Emanzipation von der Gewalt anhand von Prioritäten ordnet und abarbeitet.
In diesem Buch befinden sich Skizzen und auch Presseartikel, die emotional verarbeitet werden, von 1998 bis 2002. So entstehen zum einen synthetische Figuren und Skizzen sowie spontane Zeichnungen, dessen Deutung erst Jahre später erkennbar wird.
Das Buch liegt im „Raum der Architektur der Erinnerung“ aus und kann besichtigt werden.

Interview about my work as an artist
Interview about my work as an artist years ago (1999) and showing a book which I did for the Museum Karl Ernst Osthaus in Hagen in Germany.
The TV presenters exaggerated largely one issue: they stated that my sculpture is the „largest in the world“.
Well my sculpture is not the largest in the world, but it is the largest massive ceramic sculpture with 30T weight and cut in very few chunks. The clay parts measure between 2,5 m hight and 1,5 m large and up to 1 m deep.
They are as large as the floor of the building could take, and even then they had to build special protection to be able to drive my sculpture into the building, so, yes, it is very large.
The total of the sculpture measures 25 m x 16 m x 10 m and it has a total weight of 55 T. Anyway, Spain has different ways of being great, and what is important in this film is the book, which tells how my art and my scientific research grew together in the past. The book can be seen in the Karl Ernst Osthaus Museum in Hagen.
